Michael Warren

Michael Warren is a fourth generation native of Washington, D.C., is a husband, father, and co-founder of A Life Well Dressed.
Inspired by one of his favorite scriptures in Ecclesiastes, “Enjoy the wife of your youth…anoint your head with oil, always dress in white…and everything you find your hand to do, do well.” Always noted for his style and being “well dressed,” Michael connected the dots after years in the apparel industry, A Life Well Dressed, the family company was established. Michael was always creative. As a kid, he spent his time drawing, and as a teenager making clothes, ultimately manufacturing popular products for city’s that he loved. Inspired by DC's  entrepreneurial spirit and pride, Michael forged a path toward his dreams early as an entrepreneur, artist, creative kid from “Southeast.”

Michael has more than 20 years of retail, wholesale, marketing, product development, design, and branding experience and has worked from coast to coast. Michael’s talent and ability allowed A Life Well Dressed to translate local culture into profitable desirable products and has led to capsule collections, collaborations and partnerships with professional sports teams from the WNBA, NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB.  Michael’s design’s through the company’s brand DC PROPER® have grown into the staple identity of Washington DC.
Michael is author of the children's book A Beard Like My Dad available in Barnes & Noble, all D.C. Public Libraries, New York Public Libraries, Busboy’s and Poets, Politics & Prose, and Amazon.com.

Christian Warren

Christian Warren is a third generation Compton, California native, born in Los Angeles and raised in Compton. Christian started her career in the fashion Industry at 18 years old. Her professional experience  stretches across management, visual merchandising, marketing, global store design and procurement. She has worked for such notable companies as Forever 21, Banana Republic and Kate Spade New York. Traveling globally and nationally, she's aided companies in opening more than 88 new stores worldwide, including locations in New York, London, Paris, Japan, Canada and Dubai as well as across more than 35 states in the US. Christian’s keen eye for style combined with organizational sensibilities makes her a bright talent.  Christian works side by side with her husband Michael Warren, as they build A Life Well Dressed together.
